The 2014 Oregon Logging Conference was a success on all fronts. The number of attendees was way up, as well as the number of vendors from last year.

The Register Guard reported that the high attendance numbers may be a sign that the industry is recovering from the recent recession. In fact, attendance was estimated at 25 percent higher than last year.

If this is the case, this bodes well for the upcoming Pacific Logging Congress event. Mark your calendar for September 25-27, 2014. It looks like it’s going to be a well-attended live woods show.
