One of those students is 17-year-old Seth Eades who will attend his first year at Oregon State University in the fall of 2014 and will be studying Forest/Civil Engineering.
Seth is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather in pursing a career in the timber industry. “I grew up in the woods, surrounded by people in the timber industry. I suppose that influenced my decision to study forestry in College.”
At a young age, Eades was interested in pursing a career in Engineering, and then began to lean toward Forestry. Oregon State University offers a dual degree program, allowing Eades to pursue a degree in both fields.
